My Bio
You have reached the database for Jarntazecht Toriamp Kroyzersvand. I'm the Nomad Archivist. The purpose of The Jarntazecht Database is to chronicle all of the different facets of culture in this world, from people to places to all of the different types of expression that exist.

To do so, we harbor three guardians. The guardian of the light is Jarntademila. The guardian of the dark is Jarntamaldei. The guardian of the middle ground is Jarntasektesch. The right and left hands are Jarntateri and Jarntatruxy. "Jarnta" is a title for those who guard the Jarntazecht Database. Zecht is the Nomad Archivist.

The Jarntazecht Database was originally designed to separate the light and the dark, so that the artist would not be restricted to pursuing only one style of art, nor one single medium. The avatar is versatile, unique, minimalistic, and long-lasting. It also contains a meta-story in order to organize all the different works in one great archive of fiction. It also features pen names as 'characters' for only the real fans knowing the connections. That is to say, if there are any, as I make art for people.

I am hoping that Deviantart will ultimately become a useful tool for meeting connections and breaking into the industry.

Aww why thank you!
You're welcome! I wonder how no one commented on your profile in 3 years...
Ahh, I've just been REALLY inactive lately. That should change soon though.
You can try drawing from photos, look at tutorials here on dA or buy an anatomy book for artists... and after that sketch until your hands want to fall off, that's what i do
Your a weird guy, Tristan! But I love ya!
My name is Vern and I am Teresa's husband. I to am fascinated with digital painting and may be able to help you. I've been a professional artist for as long as you've been alive, but don't yet have a membership to deviantart (despite the fact that I refer to it almost daily). That will change soon, you've seen to that. I may also have some answers for you in your quest to 'understand the nature of art'. At the very least it'd be worth a cup of coffee to ya! You can see me at bmwoodworx.com
Hi Vern, it's good to hear from you! I would definitely love to keep in contact and talk to you about art. It often feels like it's very difficult to get in touch with people who are "in" the industry or at least have been doing art for a while, and have reached that point where they feel like their art has more of an effect in the world. Teresa tells me that you guys will be giving me a call sometime next week to plan something out. Now that I have my first paycheck it shouldn't be too hard to make some plans to go out somewhere and chat over lunch or dinner. I am looking forward to it!
